Terms of trade

By accessing or using the germandesignshop.com homepage you agree to be legally bound by these terms and conditions. By all business relations between germandesignshop and the purchaser these terms and condition are the whole agreement between you and us. This counts for future business relations as well. We may alter these terms and conditions from time to time and post the new version on our website, following which all use of our website will be governed by that version. You must check the terms and conditions on the website regularly. These terms and conditions and your use of our website are governed by German law and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the German courts. Except in respect of a payment obligation, neither you nor us will be held liable for any failure to perform any obligation to the other due to causes beyond your or our respective reasonable control. We are a registered Data Controller and will at all times comply with the German Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz).

2 Warranty on Product/s
The Product/s we are offering are Quality Products which are accompanied by a 2-year-manufacturer warranty starting from the invoice date.

Defects
We must be notified of obvious defects immediately, but within 14 days following delivery at the latest. We shall repair the defects or provide you with a replacement. Please keep the goods available for us. Defects in the case of furniture deliveries must be noted on the shipping document, and must be reported to us immediately

3 Returns
You may return any Product/s you have purchased within two weeks of delivery for any reason (including if you simply change your mind). To do so you must notify us in writing or other durable medium (including e-mail) within those 14 days. You will then be entitled to a refund from us, which will be paid as soon as possible, but in any event within 14 days. You must arrange for and pay the costs of returning the Product/s to us. While in your possession, you must keep any Product/s you intend to return to us in new condition. If the returned Product/s are not in new condition on their return we reserve the right to refuse the payment of a refund. If you have any complaints, or wish to send a legal notice you should direct them to us via e-mail only

Warranties
Our manufacturers guarantee the reliability of their products. For the exact warranty conditions, please refer to the descriptions in the catalogue and the specifications stated in the operating instructions. We also bear responsibility for the products within our range. For two full years from the date of your invoice, we will ensure that your warranty claims are fulfilled and that you are provided with high-quality service..

Delivery
Delivery is carried out via Royal Mail or parcels service - generally within 10 days. However, please remember that our products are not mass-produced articles. We will not always be able to avoid longer delivery times. In such cases, the order can also be carried out in partial shipments.

Return and cancellation
You have a general right to return goods within a period of 14 days.
You are obliged to return the goods to us in the same condition as they arrived and to take reasonable care ensuring that the goods are received by us and are not damaged in transit. There is a returns form attached to the invoice you receive with your goods. Please fill in this form and affix the label to your parcel. (To be on the safe side, please remember to register the parcel.)

For all orders you will be able to choose from the following methods of payment:

We accept Visa or Mastercard. All credit card data will be transferred SSL-encrypted.

We will immediately settle any credit which arises as a result of a return, unless you wish to use this credit to place a further order. If, contrary to experience, the goods do not meet your expectations and our high standards of quality, please contact our complaints department. In case of a problem on your part, there is a generous policy in place, to deal with events following the expiry of the 14-day grace period. You can always talk to us.
Prices
All prices in this catalogue include V.A.T. at the current valid rate.

Shipping costs
We charge a shipping cost of £ 4.95 per order. If, of course, we are forced to deliver your order in partial shipments due to technical reasons, the shipping cost is only levied once.
